Mom suddenly remembered that there were statues considered to be as old as 600 yrs found during the construction work of a temple. I was intrigued by something so fascinating which dates back so early.
Well, i just went there to find out if the news was true or not.
Wel this temple is at Kote Anjaneya temple in KR Puram police station limits.
Meantime, archeological department are expected to confirm the rumours.
The idols look astonishing and very rich in the art work. It is surely

It is claimed that the idols belong to an old rundown temple situated near the Venkateshwara Temple of the Vijayanagar dynasty. Immediately after noticing the idols, the BWSSB workers told the residents of their discovery, who then informed the tahsildar.
The residents consider the discovery to be auspicious as a new temple is under construction just a few metres from the place were the idols have been unearthed.

Wel the pictures are exclusive and am sure they will all make a big fuzz to take pictures of staues so old and considered to be special.
I just wish gods bless the KR Puram community and do somethin about the development of GH hospital which will benefit hundreds of people who live below poverty line!
